Togo Baked Bananas
Bananas, 1 per child
Lime/lemon juice, 1⁄2 tsp. per banana
Brown sugar, 1 tsp. per banana
Heavy cream, 1 Tbs. per banana
Spoons
Preheat oven to 350°. Place unpeeled bananas on a baking sheet or in a shallow pan. Bake for 20 minutes, until the skins are brown. Set the bananas on racks to cool. Make two slits along the length of each banana. Pull the peel back and remove a strip to reveal the fruit inside. Cut a slit along the length of the fruit. Use your fingers to open it slightly. Into the slit, sprinkle lime juice and brown sugar. Ladle one tablespoon of heavy cream over each fruit. Let children eat the fruit out of the peel using a spoon.
Although these are best when served warm and fresh, you can bake the bananas the night
before. Do not cut open the skins until ready to serve.
*We served only half a banana per kid*

New Theme for HighPoint Kids starting March 3rd!

In Changed Inside Out, your kids discover that real change happens on the inside as we ask God to help us be more like Jesus.
What's the Point?
When God changes me on the inside, people can see it on the outside!
Life Verse
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV)
